Technogym Machines
In 2019 we upgraded our entire cardio floor, making us the largest Technogym gym in New Zealand. We now offer a huge range of Technogym machines, including the elite SKILL line.
Technogym have been the official suppliers to the Olympic Games since Sydney in 2000, and just like ambassadors such as Rafael Nadal, Ferrari, AC Milan (pictured) and Luna Rossa, you too can unleash your inner athlete and train like a professional.
The SKILL Line
Designed in collaboration with athletes, trainers and academic research institutes, the SKILL LINE improves performance using the SKILLATHLETIC TRAINING method which develops work capacity and enhances abilities in total safety. Featured products include SKILLMILL, the first allround equipment for training power, speed, stamina and agility, and SKILLROW, the first indoor rowing machine capable of improving anaerobic power, aerobic capacity and neuromuscular abilities in a single solution.
To help athletes improve performance in complete safety, and enable instructors to monitor vital parameters during high intensity training, there is an intuitive and easy to read on-board console that measures wattage, resistance level, time, speed and distance, and heart rate via Bluetooth technology. You can access ready-made virtual training programs by scanning in the QR code and choosing from the extensive library of exercises to train power, speed, stamina and agility.
SKILLROW features Aquafeel, the unique feeling of rowing on water. This means the resistance is more gradual, making the movement more fluid throughout and avoiding the backlash effect on the lower back. And, as with all of the new Technogym cardio equipment, there’s a nifty little phone holder so you can connect to the Wellness app and record your stats.
SKILLBIKE brings the outdoors, indoors. Technogym’s Road Effect System simulates the sensation of riding outdoors by reproducing the biomechanics of outdoor bikes.
SKILLMILL is the first non-motorised product that combines power, speed, stamina and agility training. The SKILLMILL is operated and controlled exclusively by force applied by YOU and is designed to increase your metabolic rate and give you maximum muscle activation.
SKILLRUN is the first piece of running equipment that combines cardio and power training in different formats.

Exercises
Choose your exercise from the complete list of available workouts: Goal Driven, Heart Rate Driven, Advanced and Tests. UNITY stores your latest exercises that can be saved among your favourites to gain access again and add further personalized training options. -
Replicate your outdoor runs indoors
Through your personal mywellness account, you access MyRunning Logbook which allows you to replicate your favourite outdoor runs tracked by compatible mobile apps such as MapMyFitness and Strava, or wearable tracking devices such as Garmin and Polar. -

Log in to the cardio equipment via the QR code, and directly access your Facebook and mywellness account as well as your favourite settings. -
Outdoors
Select a virtual location where you want to train from the different scenarios available and enjoy an outdoor training simulator on your cardio console. -

You can access a library of videos which explain how to use the equipment and show you how to perform exercises correctly. -
Bluetooth Music Listening
The UNITY console can play your favourite music, songs and artists' playlists from your Apple device, via Bluetooth. And for the greatest comfort while running, you can listen to audio content with Bluetooth wireless headphones. -
Mywellness Code
The QR codes allow users to view on their smartphone all the exercises that can be performed on non-connected cardio and strength equipment as well as enabling them to keep track of their results manually via the mywellness app.
CLIMB offers new high intensity workout routines that make use of the stair climber’s full potential. The innovative design offers 3 and a half treadable steps and a deep step surface so you can always perform intense workouts with total confidence.
TOP – as used by America’s Cup grinders, working out on TOP involves longer kinetic chains, engaging more muscles and increasing calorie consumption. TOP also features a variety of tests for general training purposes as well as injury prevention and rehabilitation
BIKE has a reduced distance between the pedals that gives you a more realistic cycling experience, and with 3 different training positions you’ll enjoy the sensation of riding a real road bike.
RECLINE is perfect if you’re looking for moderate cardio activity and additional comfort. It is easily accessible due to 3 great features: a wide walk through to enter and exit the bike more comfortably, a low 6.5cm step-over height simplifies access for less mobile users, and a central handlebar gives extra support when sitting down or getting up.
VARIO – this follows your stride and adapts automatically to your movement patterns so you can step, walk or run, and you can perform a total body workout or just focus on your lower body.
SYNCHRO – this recreates the movement of the body when walking or running and the natural elliptical movement provides an extremely effective no impact cardio exercise.
